Help with Instagram

I finally was able to get it back but now fast forward a few months, i see that he has connected it to an account i have no access to. Problem is, i want to temporarily disable my instagram account, which i can't since it's linked to the other account. Deleting the account is not an option, i have so many memories there be it messages of passed loved ones or photos.
