Extracting a PS3 game .dat file

Hey everyone, I'm brand new here and am in search of advice. I wanted to task myself with extracting the game files for the ps3 game Motorstorm: Monument Valley, but they're all locked inside a .dat folder titled "cache_ps3.dat". I've installed a few different extraction softwares, only one of which got past the first step of actually opening the file. Still, the files inside it show up to be corrupted.
