The foundation

Hey guys, growing up I was never really into computers, but as the years go on I've become more and more interested in cyber security and hacking. I've read some really great posts on how to get started hacking on this sub. I'm doubting whether I have enough of a foundation to get started in learning hacking. So my question is if you hypothetically had someone that never saw a computer before, and they wanted to learn hacking and cyber security, what would you tell them they needed to learn before diving into hacking? What resources would you tell them to utilize? Just to be clear not hacking resources, but what they need to learn first to fully grasp hacking.
