Pixel 3 wall power hack

Hi, i recently bought a new phone and wanted to turn my old phone into an android box using a displaylink hub i have laying around. the problem is that their is no power from the dock to the phone so i was planning to chop up the battery and take the PWM board and hardwire to that.
